Low voltage contractors with these designations have extensive knowledge and training, and have passed examinations on the fundamentals of telecommunications distribution design and planning, and installing electronic systems for the home.

But it is also important to discuss with your contractor how you intend to use the system - now and in the future - so expansion can be built into the design.
